The companies can be authorized as Carcasses Classification Agencies if they are registered in Romania, their field of activity is technical testing and analysis (CAEN 7120), they have as staff, certified carcasses classifiers, and they have technical facilities for the activity of carcasses classification. Authorization steps are: the transmission of the documentation to the Carcasses Classification Commission for pigs, beef and sheep (CCC); the verification of the documentation submitted; the approval of the request for authorization; the transmission of the list with the Carcasses Classification Agencies proposed for authorization to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD); issuance and publication in the Official Journal of the Ministry Order approving the list of authorized Agencies for carcasses classification; the release of the Carcasses Classification Authorisation and the assignment of the SIGRAC user account by the CCC.
