PROCEDURA
Recognition procedure concerning doctor title obtained abroad (code PO.CSUD.04)
Procedure description
- In order to recognize the title of doctor obtained abroad, the interested person draws up a file that will contain the following documents: the request for recognition, the doctoral diploma and a copy of the doctoral thesis.
- All the documents, scanned in pdf format, after being uploaded to the platform, will be originally submitted to the TUIASI Registry or sent by post, with acknowledgment of receipt, to the address: Blvd Prof. Dimitrie Mangeron no. 67, 700050, Iasi, Romania.
- Afterwards, the file will be submitted to an evaluation commission that draws up an analysis report according to the procedure deadline.
- If necessary, the commission may request additional documents. The analysis report regarding the approval or non-approval of the request for recognition of the diploma, prepared by the commission, is submitted to the TUIASI Senate which issues a Decision which can be appelead take into account the procedure conditions.
- The recognition by the \"Gheorghe Asachi\" Technical University of Iasi of the doctoral diploma and the doctoral degree obtained in abroad is valid and produces legal effects only at the \"Gheorghe Asachi\" Technical University of Iasi level.
- The Senate' decision can be appealed within 30 days from the communication by a reasoned request that is submitted to the University Registry.
- The appeals are resolved within 30 days from the date of registration by an appeals settlement commission consisting of 5 members appointed by the Rector's decision, which is issued within 5 days from the registration of the appeal.
- In case the appeal is submitted before the period of 30 days prior to the beginning of the teaching holiday, the term for solving it is extended from the first day of the academic year. The deadlines for resolving and issuing decisions are calculated from this date.
- The answer to the appeal is communicated directly, by email, or by post by registered letter, with acknowledgment of receipt, to the applicant or the person empowered by it, on the basis of signature and date, by the Rectorate - Doctoral Service.

RECOGNITION PROCEDURE CONCERNING THE DOCTORAL SUPERVISOR POSITION OBTAINED ABROAD (CODE PO.CSUD.03)
Procedure description
- In order to recognize the doctoral supervisor position or of the qualification obtained in abroad, the interested person draws up a file that will contain the following documents: the request for recognition, the identity card and the proof of name change (if applicable), the doctor's diploma, CV, papers list and the proof of the fulfillment, at the date of submission of the file, of the minimum CNATDCU criteria for the field in which the recognition of the doctoral supervisor position is required.
- All the documents must be scanned in pdf format, and after uploading to the platform, will be originally submitted to the TUIASI Registry or sent by post, with acknowledgment of receipt, to the address: Blvd. Dimitrie Mangeron no. 67, 700050, Iasi, Romania.
- Afterwards, the file will be submitted to an evaluation commission that draws up an analysis report take into account the procedure deadline. If necessary, the commission may request additional documents.
- The analysis report regarding the approval or non-approval of the request for recognition of the doctoral supervisor position or of the authority prepared by the commission is submitted to the TUIASI Senate which issues a Decision that can be appealed under the procedure conditions.
- The recognition of the doctoral supervisor position or of the qualification obtained abroad by the Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi is valid and produces legal effects only at the Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi level.
- The Senate decision may be disputed within 30 days of its communication by means of a motivated request to be submitted to the University Registry.
- The appeals are resolved within 30 days from the date of registration by an appeals settlement commission consisting of 5 members appointed by the Rector's decision, which is issued within 5 days from the registration of the appeal.

PROCEDURA
Procedură de recunoaștere a funcțiilor didactice obținute în instituțiile de învățământ universitar acreditate din străinătate
- Procedura se aplică în cadrul Universităţii Tehnice „Gheorghe Asachi” din Iaşi, pentru recunoașterea funcțiilor didactice obţinute în instituţii de învăţământ universitar acreditate din străinătate.
- Funcţiile didactice din învăţământul universitar obţinute în instituţii de învăţământ universitar acreditate din state membre ale Uniunii Europene, ale Spaţiului Economic European, din Confederaţia Elveţiană şi în universităţi de prestigiu din alte state incluse în „Lista universităţilor de prestigiu din alte state”, aprobată prin ordin al Ministrului de resort şi actualizată periodic, se recunosc automat.
- Funcţiile didactice obţinute la alte instituţii de învăţământ universitar acreditate decât cele menţionate la alin. (1) se recunosc numai în baza unei convenţii internaţionale de recunoaştere reciprocă, încheiată la nivel interguvernamental sau interuniversitar.
- Prevederile prezentei metodologii se aplică cetăţenilor români, cetaţenilor din state membre ale Uniunii Europene, ale Spaţiului Economic European, din Confederaţia Elveţiană şi cetăţenilor din state terţe.
- Ocuparea unui post didactic în sistemul românesc de învăţământ superior se realizează conform normelor legale în vigoare (Legea nr. 1/2011 cu completările și modificările ulterioare).
- Recunoaşterea funcţiei didactice conform prezentei proceduri este valabilă şi produce efecte juridice la nivelul Universității Tehnice „Gheorghe Asachi” din Iași.
