Non-compliant products are products which, for one or more reasons, do not fit the intended purpose. Products that are wrongly ordered or used for a purpose other than that for which they were produced or which have been ordered without knowing their specific usage shall not be considered as non-compliant products.

The seller is obliged to deliver to the buyer products that are in conformity with the sales contract. The seller is responsible to the buyer for any lack of conformity existing at the time the goods were delivered.

In the event of non-compliance, the buyer shall have the right to require the seller to bring the product into conformity, free of charge, by repair or replacement, or to benefit from an appropriate price reduction or rescission of the contract relating to that product.

The warranty is legally binding on the seller under the conditions specified in the warranty declarations and the related advertisements. The warranty must specify the product identifiers, the warranty period, the average duration of use, how to claim the warranty – maintenance, repair, replacement and the period for their completion, including the name and address of the seller and the specialised service unit.

At the buyer’s request, the warranty shall be provided in writing or on any other durable medium available and accessible to them.

If the seller fails to comply with their legal obligations, the buyer may appeal to the National Authority for Consumer Protection or pursue legal remedies.
